It involves the removal of the affected lens after which a new artifical lens is implanted.The report aggregates all of the individual records that contain the ICD-9 Codes 13.11, 13.19, 13.2, 13.3, 13.41, 13.42, 13.43, 13.51, 13.59, 13.64, 13.65, 13.66 and 13.69 in any procedure field. The total number of reported procedures is 121,641. You can choose to view 2002 cataract volume information in any one or all of the report formats listed below. “Main Hospital Location” refers to the hospital where the physician performed the greatest volume of procedures.
