What follows are reports of kidney transplant procedures performed in New York State in 2002. Kidney transplantation provides an alternative to dialysis, but the number of transplants is limited by the number of suitable donor kidneys available. The report aggregates all of the individual records that contain the ICD-9 Codes 55.61 and 55.69 in any procedure field. The total number of reported procedures is 873.
