What follows are reports of thyroidectomy procedures performed in New York State in 2002. Thyroidectomy is the surgical removal or all or part of the thyroid gland. The report aggregates all of the individual records that contain the ICD-9 Codes 06.2, 06.31, 06.39. 06.4, 06.5, 06.51 and 06.52 in any procedure field. The total number of reported procedures is 6,744.

You can choose to view 2002 thyroidectomy volume information in any one or all of the report formats listed below. “Main Hospital Location” refers to the hospital where the physician performed the greatest volume of procedures.
